Welcome to this site, which is all about water. I’ve always been aware of the importance of water in our lives, its benefits to our health, and its ability to transport energy through our body. It’s common knowledge that keeping well hydrated is one of the best things we can do for our health and that even mild dehydration can affect us mentally and physically.
I used to drink tap water, but I never liked the taste and therefore I’d never drunk enough to stay hydrated. My skin and hair started to suffer, and so did my mood. So my husband and I decided to start buying bottled water.
I liked the taste of bottled spring water, but what I really didn’t enjoy was to keep dragging heavy packets of bottles from the shops, and then feeling reluctant to drink enough as I didn’t want to waste it too soon! And then we learned about microplastics…
One study tested 259 water bottles by eleven different brands and found that over 90% of these bottles showed signs of microplastic contamination. We felt less and less sure about buying plastic bottles, and every week when the bin men came we felt downright guilty for ‘gifting’ our planet with another mountain of plastic…
So when a good friend of ours introduced us to the PiMag waterfall filter, we felt our water dilemma was about to be solved. We both really liked the taste of the water and were intrigued by all the features of this unit.
Soon after that, I noticed that another friend of mine was using the PiMag Waterfall at her home-based childminding practice, and I could see how much the little children enjoyed drinking this water.
